Growing up I’ve always been very competitive. From playing football with the neighborhood boys, softball in elementary school, or board games with my family I always want to win! I didn’t begin playing soccer until my freshman year at Appleton East High School. Needing a goalie, the JV soccer coach saw me playing street hockey with the neighborhood kids and thought soccer would be a good fit. I immediately fell in love with the sport. By the following year I was playing on Varsity and was named a team co-captain my senior year.

In the summers I grew as a player traveling with teams through Appleton Soccer Club and Fox Valley Unified. Some of my favorite memories of these times came from piling into my mom’s minivan and heading to tournaments including one of my favorites the USA Cup in Blaine, MN.

After high school I continued my love for the game playing at St. Norbert College from 1999-2002. While in college I also began coaching, helping with my former high school team, and coaching U-16 and U-19 girl’s teams for Fox Valley Unified.

After college I moved to Kewaunee coaching their first ever Varsity Girls’ Soccer team for four seasons. It was then that I began playing at Sports Emporium meeting the now founders of the Glory. Through injuries and having kids we continue to find our way back to the field.

I live in Green Bay with husband Kevin, Paige 10, and Wyatt 6. Having worked in governmental accounting the past 16 years I am currently the Assistant Finance Director/Treasurer for the City of Green Bay.

Being part of the Green Bay Glory gives me a chance to give back to the sport that helped develop me
into the person I am today. I look forward to being a good influence for the Glory players.
