We are thrilled to welcome Abdisamad Mohamud to the Green Bay Glory family! Abdisamad brings with him a wealth of talent, passion, and determination both on and off the field.

He is currently studying Cyber Security at UW Madison while working as a chemist at Pioneer. His journey into soccer began at the tender age of four, nurtured by his older brother who instilled in him the drive to excel both on and off the pitch.

As a center back, Abdisamad has earned accolades for his defensive skills, winning the Defender of the Year award twice and leading his team to victory in tournaments, notably in Minnesota. Beyond his athletic achievements, Abdisamad’s knack for numbers and his unwavering energy and leadership make him a valuable addition to our squad.

When asked about joining the Green Bay Glory, Abdisamad expressed excitement for the season ahead and the opportunity to compete for his hometown team. He chose the Glory for its familial atmosphere, its openness to new experiences, and the chance to represent his community on the field.

When ansked what he brings to the team, Abdi says, “My energy, leadership, confidence, and never losing hope and not giving up.” With his determination and talent, we are confident that he will make an indelible mark on the Green Bay Glory and lead us to new heights.
