The Green Bay Glory proudly announces the addition of Haakon Utesch to our esteemed men’s team roster. The Kewaunee native is graduating from William Penn University with a degree in Business Management. Haakon is not only skilled on the field but also possesses a passion for entrepreneurship. With aspirations to own his own business and coach soccer, he epitomizes the spirit of ambition and dedication.
Haakon’s journey in soccer began in 2014, and since then, he has excelled as a goalkeeper. His tenure with the Florida Roots FC and his notable achievements, including winning the National Championship in 2021, highlight his exceptional talent and commitment to the sport.
Described as a person who is always seeking personal and professional growth, Haakon is dedicated to bettering both his team and community. As a veteran player with experience in collegiate national championships and the 2024 MASL professional playoffs, he brings invaluable leadership and a winning mentality to the Glory.
Haakon’s excitement for building the soccer culture in the greater Green Bay area is palpable. His decision to join the Glory was fueled by a desire to return to his roots and contribute to the city’s soccer legacy, aiming to bring a championship title to Green Bay.
