Sam Jahnke
We’re thrilled to announce to the Green Bay Glory men’s team: Sam Jahnke! The New London native, is playing soccer and studying psychology at Ripon College. Sam’s ambition is to pursue clinical psychology or psychiatry, aspiring to run his own practice one day to help others overcome their challenges.
Sam is known for his laid back demeanor and passion for bringing joy to those around him. Off the field, he’s an avid learner, delving into subjects like philosophy, theology, and history, while also honing his writing skills as a means of self-expression.
Sam’s soccer journey is marked by impressive achievements, including back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year awards in high school and standout performances at Ripon College. His commitment to improvement and attention to detail make him a valuable asset to any team, and we’re excited to see him bring his drive and determination to the Glory.
When asked why he chose the Green Bay Glory, Sam expressed his desire to grow not only as a player but as a person in a positive and supportive environment. “I wanted a team where I could develop both areas, and I knew the Glory would provide that opportunity.” With Sam’s addition to our roster, we’re confident that the future is bright for the Green Bay Glory.
Welcome aboard, Sam!
