McKayla Legois

Look who's back!!! McKayla Legois, who many of us know as “Kertsch,” is from Sheboygan, WI, and has been an integral part of the Glory family since its inception in 2019. Her versatility on the field, playing in midfield or wherever the team needs her, reflects her selflessness and commitment to the team’s success. Beyond soccer, McKayla is a 1st Grade Teacher, channeling her passion for education and mentorship into shaping young minds.

With 18 years of soccer experience under her belt, McKayla brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the game. Despite her competitive nature on the field, off the pitch, she exudes energy and positivity, often punctuating her days with quirky sound effects and laughter. McKayla’s journey with Glory has been transformative, fostering deep connections, personal growth, and a renewed love for the sport.

Since her Glory days, McKayla has embarked on various endeavors, including playing four more college soccer seasons, graduating, getting married, and embracing her role as a teacher. Through it all, she remains grateful for the platform Glory has provided her to explore her passion for soccer while making a positive impact on and off the field.

In her own words, McKayla shares, “I am returning to stay in the game competitively, but also to support the Glory off the field more intentionally as well. I am hoping to help develop more for the Glory! I want to help people. Glory gives me a platform to explore that aspiration with the intersection of my passion of soccer as well!”

Welcome back, McKayla! Your dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm are invaluable assets to the team and the community.
